Did you ever try calling that device activation line phone number that I supplied? EG no. The only phone that I had was a Digital Voice landline phone which would not be actively connected when changing out my gateways.

EG I had already set up an appointment for a technician to come to my home to activate my gateway when you posted your message. A techician called me to set it up remotely this morning rather than appear for that appointment which worked out successfully.

I tried to install my new gateway today and a single webpage option appeared on my PC prompting me to activate it by downloading an App to my smart phone. Since I do not own a smart phone to download this App I had no other options were given.
